Some of the grandest food in town at an exceedingly grand address. Yannick Alléno brings his exquisite neo-French cuisine to this neo-classical mansion in the Champs-Élysées gardens, where there’s been a restaurant since 1792. Steamed morels come with smoked scamorza (a South Italian cow's milk cheese), and Iranian black citrus powder; turbot is flavoured with orange blossom and served with jasmine flower fritters and hot turnip cream; and mushroom marshmallow is seasoned with chocolate, sea salt and apricot touches for dessert. In the same building is L’Abysse, his Michelin-star sushi counter.
