Slink through the featureless door of this two-storey shophouse and pull back the curtain to enter a world dedicated to good times. The lovechild of the teams who brought about Bangkok speakeasies Ku Bar and Sugar Ray, the slim slip of a candle-lit space emerges onto a retro-cosy lounge space made for kicking back. In Alonetogther, they’ve whittled the bar experience down to its foundations: great drinks and top-notch service, with a little live jazz on the side (the name is indeed a nod to a Chet Baker track). In charge of the drinks is Anupas 'Kong' Premanurat, who switches up modern classics by swapping mainstay ingredients for local alternatives. Think a chest-beating China Blue with fresh wasabi or a frisky Screwdriver made with pomelo then blended into a slushie with abundant ice. A cigar lounge slash record store upstairs completes it.
