While Blue is under the umbrella of the global Ducasse franchise, this exquisite establishment on the Chao Phraya River shines among Bangkok’s top restaurants under its own steam. Led by executive chef Wilfrid Hocquet of Le Louis XV from the legendary Alain Ducasse stable, Blue’s fare is polished, elegant and contemporary. Premium French produce features in both à la carte and tasting menu format, including the likes of venison with blackcurrant and poivrade sauce, or guinea fowl pithivier with parsnips and sorrel. The circular dining room is intimate and beautifully curated, bedecked with royal blue velvet carpet and comfortable chairs overlooking the river. On arrival, guests are also welcomed to take a seat in The Lounge, where champagne and delicate pastries are served at any time of day.
