Kojima is acknowledged as Korea's only Japanese restaurant to have gained two Michelin Stars and is ergo considered to serve the best sushi in the nation; not something to be sniffed at. The restaurant can be found above the a fashion store, with its rooftop vantage point offering great views across the city, whilst the dining room is a traditional rendering of a Tokyo sushi joint, all bleached wood with a central chef's counter and a handful of additional tables dotted around (note, you will pay a premium for sitting at the counter, but we reckon it's worth it to watch sushi master Park Kyung-jae at work). The menu format is a traditional omakase, with guests served that day's most delicious fish, simply alone or served atop perfectly-prepared rice. As with all sushi, the quality of the ingredients is paramount and Kyung-jae has a talent for finding only the very best.
