La Factoría turned five in 2018, with founders Roberto Berdecia, Leslie Cofresí and Pablo Rodríguez, having much to celebrate, including three consecutive years as part of The World’s 50 Best Bars. Despite its popularity, this small haunt has an unpretentious vibe: think fairy lights, a chequerboard floor, salsa music. Creative cocktails include the likes of the ‘Lion’s Tail’ (bourbon, honey, lime, whisky liqueur and homemade bitters). Slip through the wooden door at the back to access ‘secret’ wine bar Vino, a tiny space boasting top-notch international varieties.
