New Bangkok kid on the block Mahaniyom is a feast for the senses, starting with its busy, colourful appearance, fusing elements of Asian design with aspects that wouldn’t be out of place in a Moroccan souk, contrasting with a neon tiger on the wall, and various other eclectic elements. Located as it is inside nose-to-tail restaurant 100 Mahaseth, the bar takes inspiration from this concept, with each cocktail named after a single ingredient, which is used in various ways. These include everything from Pomelo to Squid, via Cow and Coconut. Orange, for example, is made with a home-made, orange-infused vermouth and a distilled orange hydrosol, garnished with chips made from the leftover orange peels.
