Nicky Harrison

Buenos Aires, Argentina

There are semi-hidden cocktail bars, and then there are those that take the speakeasy concept seriously. The Harrison, named after Prohibition-era figure Nicky Harrison who ran a speakeasy of his own, is among the latter. To enter you go through sushi restaurant Nicky, and you’ll need a password, of course. If you make it in, you’ll need to speak easy, and not use your phone, or take any pictures. Guests here are transported back in time to the 1920s, with a cosy, immersive space, live jazz, tarot readings and, most importantly, Prohibition-inspired libations. This is an excellent spot to indulge in some classic cocktails, as well as some original Harrison creations, such as the smoky Scottish Fog, with Chivas 12, Ardbeg, Drambuie, Earl Grey syrup and Angostura Bitters.
