Offtrack is a bar where music is everything: a collaboration between local music collectives Darker than Wax and Ice Cream Sundays there's a packed schedule of local DJs and those from further afield, committed to making sure the tunes never fade into the background. The exterior is hard to miss with retro 1980s glass bricks making up a shop window of sorts, whilst inside it's a mix of Mid Century wood, terrazzo, spaceship-esque light fittings glowing orange and vinyl artwork adorning the walls alongside ever-changing installations from local artists. When it comes to food there's a pan-Asian menu including dishes like smacked cucumber salad with crispy chilli or larger plates such as Massaman curry. Drinks are a lot of fun, with a choice of lesser-known classics like the Grasshopper (mint liqueur, cacao liqueur, mint bitter, milk, cream and fresh mint) alongside a choice of highballs and a couple of pitchers for good measure.
