Spanish-born Alain Devahive – whose CV includes a decade at legendary Spanish restaurant El Bulli – offers diners a deeper understanding of Catalonia’s proud food culture through a concise menu that combines traditional flavours with creative flare. Although the emphasis is on sharing and there are familiar bites to start, such as padron peppers and croquettes, larger plater plates featuring foams and plenty of truffle indicate that this is a far more ambitious version of Catalonian food than straight-up tapas. An in-house DJ and killer cocktail list take the vibe seamlessly from day to night.
