A glorious merging of cultural influences takes place at Quattro Teste in Lisbon, where owners Alf del Portillo and Marta Premoli fuse Basque and Italian flavors with great finesse. Open since late 2021, the two bar industry veterans have welcomed guests to the modest establishment ever since with gracious hospitality and the promise of a lively time. On the cocktail end of things, expect spritzes and negronis, plenty of sherry and Italian vermouth, and an updated amaro-based take on the famous Kalimotxo, plus pintxos and Basque sidra (cider shot straight from the barrel). If you're looking for a more Instagrammable option, ask for the Angelo Azzurro, a blue curaçao-based gin drink with a fluffy citrus foam. Reservations recommended.
