Qui Plume la Lune
Paris, France
In 2009, Jacky Ribault fulfilled a lifelong dream of opening his own restaurant with the launch of 24-cover Qui Plume la Lune (‘Who Plucks the Moon’). The name references a Christine Carrière film in which a character sends feathers to relatives to distract them from their sorrows. Ribault has since opened a second outpost, leaving Jean-Christophe Rizet in charge here. Served in a cosy dining room featuring stone walls and velvet seating, Rizet’s inventive set menus showcase Japanese-inspired French gastronomy.
