Entering Republic is like walking in to a super-luxe episode of Mad Men, as while the 1960s influence is clear, this is the Ritz-Carlton, so there's got to be a little bit of glitz on the go. The drinks too take their cues from the Swinging Sixties with its menu focused on art, cinema, fashion and music. The Flowers is a tribute the art of Andy Warhol, mixing gin, Champagne, rhubarb, lemon, rose and soda water; while the Space Odyssey blends whisky with berries, honey, lemon shrub, Champagne, soda water and glitter for a wholly cinematic drink. There's also a refined take on afternoon tea on offer, served every day from 3pm – 5pm. Already placing at No.12 in Asia's 50 Best Bars 2022, this is one drinking den that's definitely worth visiting.
