Freudian issues have long driven people to drink, so why not name a bar after the man himself? The bold green interior of this subterranean den is dominated by a large black and brass artwork of Freud's silhouette, complete with a brass speech bubble quoting his wisdom. The cocktail menu is styled as a pop art graphic novel focused on – what else – Freud, but don't go thinking this place is all style and no substance, as the drinks show some serious sophistication. Try the Kristall Sour, which shakes kümmel with lemon juice, honey syrup, egg white, lemon and pink peppercorn.
