From the team behind the original St John, a past regular in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list, Bread and Wine is a less formal, canteen-style dining room offering much of the same unique nose-to-tail cuisine of the flagship. Roasted bone marrow on toast, the dish that made chef Fergus Henderson world famous, is a highlight of the menu, which also includes devilled kidneys, skate cheeks and soused pig’s ear. And it wouldn’t be proper to visit a St John establishment without indulging in freshly baked madeleines or the signature Eccles cakes with Lancashire cheese.
