Taking noodles to another level, Hao introduces variations of the Chinese staple that will be unfamiliar to many westerners. An encyclopaedic menu runs through versions from all over China, such as Dandan noodles, chickpea noodles, those mixed with scallion oil and dried shrimp, and lion head meatball noodle soup. More familiar items like sweet and sour ribs are also available, as well as a short dim sum menu. Part of a group run by Madam Zhu, who has eight popular restaurants across mainland China. ‘Hao’ represents the strive for perfection in Chinese.
