50Best Accolades
  • No.27 Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2023
  • No.13 Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2021

Opened in 1994, Les Amis was Singapore’s first independent fine-dining restaurant. Today, its classic French cuisine – with the occasional touch of Asian – remains highly regarded (and a Asia's 50 Best regular), with the kitchen helmed by executive chef Sebastien Lepinoy, who trained for 17 years under the late Joël Robuchon. Instead of focusing on trends, Lepinoy highlights ingredients, including the rare Le Ponclet butter produced by a near-extinct Celtic breed of cows. His cold angel hair pasta with kombu, caviar and black truffle is a signature. Desserts here are by Cheryl Koh, crowned Asia’s Best Pastry Chef in 2016 by 50 Best.
