Shady Acres is a whole lot of fun, in fact it's a prime example of Chaotic Good. There's a hell of a wine list, with quirky bottles sourced from all over the world, served alongside a daily-changing hard slushie. There's a series of themed nights, like orange wine dinners and fresh pasta parties, plus two happy hours every evening. Even the food menu shows serious versatility, with grilled cheese and tomato soup served alongside wagyu bavette. When it comes to the cocktails (other than the slushie), the drinks are accomplished and complex whilst retaining that sense of playfulness, like the Shiso Classy: botanical gin, tropical bitters, grapefruit and pink peppercorn shiso foam.
