The iconic Somerset House is the grand setting for Australian chef Skye Gyngell’s elegant seasonal and sustainable cuisine in a stunning, light-filled dining room. A regular-changing à la carte offers options such as chilled tomato soup with crème fraiche, tortellini with girolles or spice-rubbed pigeon with slow-cooked chard. An excellent-value set lunch is available daily, and there’s a pre-theatre ‘Scratch’ menu using produce that would otherwise be wasted. Gyngell is a pioneer of the sustainable restaurant movement and has eliminated plastics from Spring.
