After bouncing back to life following a fire in the summer of 2018, The Dead Rabbit – a former World's Best Bar – can accommodate even more patrons in a new extension next door. The Taproom in the original downstairs remains an honest and no-nonsense pub, serving up an impressive selection of whiskies, craft beer, world-famous Irish coffee and the – self-proclaimed – best Guinness in the city, with food and a Sunday roast also available. The upstairs Parlour is a “cocktail cathedral” mixing up classic juleps and slings, as well as drinks created around the story of founder John Morrissey and his 1970s New York adventures.
