Clap is among Dubai’s finest restaurants, with impeccable omakase-style dining and more. But the cocktail bar at this Japanese restaurant is just as much of a draw for its steady stream of chic clientele. Champagne is a popular option here, but the cocktails are well worth exploring, for drinks such as the Nippon Sangria, combining junmai saké, rooibos red fruit, Lillet Rosé, Italicus Bergamot and agave cordial. For high rollers, there are top-end drinks such as the limited-edition Highland Rob Roy, made with high-grade Scotch, and there are larger-format bottle serves of some of the drinks available. For those not drinking, many of the cocktails on the list are available without alcohol. The setting is just as impressive as the drinks offering, with wonderful views from the windows of this ninth floor venue.
