You don’t just happen upon this basement bar, but the effort involved in finding it is entirely worth it. Once inside, this is an engaging and welcoming space with all manner of liquid delights to discover. The bar’s namesake cocktail is an excellent place to start – a tropical blend of rum, pineapple, apricot and banana liqueur served in a beautiful bespoke glass shaped like a bird. There’s so much more to discover though, from the extensive range of cocktails ageing in barrels above the bar, to an exclusive selection of mezcals sourced direct from the producers. Between cocktails there’s a self-serve draught beer setup in one corner of the bar.
