Jaén, in the south of Spain, is the world's foremost producer of extra virgin olive oil. It is a unique landscape, with 66 million olive trees and 600.000 hectares of olive grove. The province produces 30% of the world's and 43% of Spain's olive oil.

'Jaén Selección' is a quality distinction created by the government of the province of Jaén. This distinction awards excellence in the quality of the product, 100% certified.

The eight Jaén Selección extra virgin olive oils are the star products and most appreciated as part of the Mediterranean diet, declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity for its healthy characteristics.
